Ms. B : Breast Cancer Survivor

How do I even begin to tell the story of this beautiful woman?! I suppose we will start with her own words..."In May 2013, I was diagnosed with early stage Breast Cancer. Three (3) surgeries and twenty-eight (28) radiation treatments later, I needed something that would help me feel beautiful again. In May 2014, I booked a boudoir photography session with Jessica, which included professional hair and makeup. At the beginning of the session, I felt nervous but this quickly passed. It felt great to be the centre of attention and in the end, I feel beautiful again. Thank you so much Jessica!"Her story does't end here! After our session, I posted on my personal page how grateful and honoured I am to be chosen by women (such as Ms B) to use my art to help them embrace, celebrate and heal and mentioned that my client that day (Ms.B) happened to be a breast cancer survivor.In comes the fabulous, wonderful, amazing woman, Cathy O'Grady, to our story. She read my post and immediately messaged me and told me about her non-profit organizationSofia's Angels RAOK - http://www.sofiasangelsfoundation.org/and that they wanted to cover the cost of Ms.B's session ♥ How fabulous is that!!!!!This morning I had the honour of meeting up with Ms.B again to surprise her with this amazing gift. She said this was JUST the thing she needed after a hard couple of weeks trying to manage the pain she still suffers from her radiation treatments and that she was so touched. I won't lie, we both cried!!
