Top 12 Frequently Asked Questions about Boudoir Photography
1. Do I have to share my images online?
This is one of the top 12 frequently asked questions about boudoir photography. No, you do not! Every body that you see on my website and social media I have been graciously allowed to share with written consent from each individual. I am always excited and happy to share the art we have created together, as I believe art is meant to be seen! But I also respect your privacy and choice to keep your images private. When you return to the studio for your in person image reveal and ordering appointment (approx 2 weeks after your session) we will sit down together and go over your images one by one and you can hand select which specific images you are comfortable sharing. Alternatively you can choose to keep them all private. This is 100% your choice!
2. Do I have to wear lingerie or get naked?
That is entirely up to you! You do not have to wear specific lingerie and while I always encourage you to bare it all during a session you are not required to by any means. Communication, trust, and comfort are key so you will always have the final say. Head over to this blog post about choosing outfits for more ideas!
3. The people on your website all look like models. I am not "model material"... can I do this?!
I'll take that as a compliment. The majority of the people on my website are just like you! They all had the same concern before their session, and, well... look at them! I am here to direct you and help you pose. Relax, I got you! The best thing you can do is to get outta your own way. Let go of your inhibitions and trust the process.
4. Is Hair & Makeup included?
Yes! The wonderfully talented Missy of MISMACK Clean Cosmetics will be on site to pamper you and give you a nice "polish" before we begin your intimate portrait session. We can help you complete your look, whether thatβs βI just woke up like thisβ or full on glam! The choice is yours.

5. Where should I buy outfits?
There are a few places to buy outfits from and it depends on what you are getting and the style of your shoot! Here is a list to choose from with different style and sizing! My first choice is female owned and operated ForeverYoursLingerie in Langley, BC. They have an amazing selection from petite to plus, catering to a multitude of body types and sizes. It's the only place I can find a good quality bra that fits me perfectly! They have a great website to order from as well!
Some other options are Victoriaβs Secret, Forever21, Adoreme, Torrid, La Vie En Rose, LaZenza, Hips and Curves.
If you are looking for something specific that you canβt find, let me know and I might know where to get it! Also don't forget to raid your own closet - you may have some awesome finds in there you didn't even consider!
Once you book in for your session we will also send you a WHAT TO WEAR guide to help!
